There are a whole range of B vitamins that are very important in the efficient metabolism of food to provide us energy. Here a list of B vitamins and what they do for us:
Vitamin B-1 Thiamine: Useful in times of stress. Helps muscles and nerves work and helps us metabolise sugar and starch
Vitamin B-2 Riboflavin: Use this if you exercise a lot. Critical in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Needed in the repair of the nails, skin and hair.
Vitamin B-3 Niacin:Synthysises sex hormones and vital to the nervous system. It also aids circulation, and reduces cholesterol.
Vitamin B-6 Pyridoxine: Relieves PMT symptoms. Used in the metabolism of fat and amino acids. Must be present in the production of red blood cells and antibodies and so is important for your immune system.

Biotin: Found in shampoos and conditioners Biotin is said to repair damaged hair
Choline:Helps lower cholesterol, transferring nerve impulse to the brain, helps against memory loss and senile dementia, aids the liver in removing poisons and drugs from the bloodstream.
Pantothenic Acid: Helps you produce adrenaline - so useful in stressful situations. It also helps form certain hormones and antibodies
Folic acid:Symptoms of too little folic acid are slowed metabolism, constipation, and tiredness at inappropriate times of the day. It has been proven to decrease the risk of birth defects
