Vitamin B5, or Pantothenic Acid, is a vital component of Coenzyme A a very important enzyme used in everything from producing energy in the body to synthesis of brain neurotransmitters and production of hemoglobin and natural steroids. Many people use vitamin B-5 to reduce joint stiffness and pain in rheumatoid arthritis. Others have found that is lessens the build up of lactic acid in muscles meaning you can train harder and longer. In recent times Pantothenic Acid has also been used as an acne cure the thinking being that Coenzyme A metabolises extra fat in the body making it unavailable to the oily pores in the face.
